Assendelft Lodge

The Lodge is situated on the Southern part of the farm, which measures around 280 hectares and consists of 4 guest rooms, each with an en suite bathroom comprising of a basin, toilet and shower, and a private patio.  All rooms have air conditioning and access to the outdoor braai facilities.

There is ample parking space behind a locked gate for large vehicles and for those towing trailers, etc.  The sundowners’ deck is perfect for enjoying your breakfast or a cold drink at the end of the day, and provides a great lookout point for viewing the Karoo landscape.

At the Lodge farmyard, we keep our Dorper sheep which are going to or have recently lambed, as well as the lambs.  We also have our egg-laying hens whose eggs are available to purchase.  There are springbuck and kudu on this part of the farm, along with smaller wildlife, including duikers, rabbits, wild cats and birds.

The rate per room is R1050 for couples and R800 for single travellers staying in our twin room.

All rooms have the option to add in one single sized mattress with bedding for children 12 years and younger at a rate of R250.

A complimentary breakfast consisting of muesli, yoghurt, fruit, juice, tea and coffee is included in the room rate, and we have dinner options available at a rate of between R180 and R280 per couple.
